friend mary is engaged!!!

i got a phone call this week... it was a surprise in one sense, but it's been a while coming... friend mary moved to pittsburgh in december... her boyfriend (now fiance) had just started a job in pittsburgh... and so she moved, too... she's been living with her sister and brother-in-law and working at the march of dimes as an event planner... (or something along those lines...)

so we thought he was going to propose at christmas time? no... maybe new year's? no... maybe valentine's day? no... i had kind of put it out of my mind... but her birthday was tuesday and he proposed, as she stood over the sink, washing dishes... they haven't set a date yet...

i couldn't be more happy for friend mary and her fiance rob... they deserve the best and i'm thankful for God putting them together (twice) and for the ministry they will have together... plus, they're really cute together... see pictures below... :)
